Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in corporate strategy or management consultancy.
  • Experience in written and verbal communication, including presentation decks for executives.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience working in the Mobile Tech industry.
  2. Experience with data analysis using tools such as SQL
  3. Ability to lead cross-functional problem solving teams using structured approaches.
  4. Ability to influence others.
  5. Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to speak and write in English and Hindi or other regional languages fluently and idiomatically.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
As Strategy and Operations Lead, you will lead the shaping of our strategy in one of the most important countries for P&E and Google, and with some of our largest partners. You will support the Partnerships team to execute on their priorities, and deliver market insights to P&E leadership to inform Product and Business decision making.
Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob and Google Ad Manager, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. In addition, the Partnerships team supports Google’s own product teams with essential partnerships to help power Google’s user experiences in search, maps, travel, shopping, payments and more.

Responsibilities

Partner with P&E Partnerships and cross-functional teams to drive strategy in India, including country and partner business plans.
Support the Partnerships team to develop actionable go-to-market plans and project manage execution of these initiatives.
Identify operational problems and issues within Partnerships and cross-functional teams. Define and execute programs and processes to solve these problems, creating scalable solutions when possible.
Prepare business/OKR reviews and create tools and processes to ensure that the Partnerships team have relevant information at their fingertips. Synthesize industry intelligence, partner feedback and user insights to influence product localization
