Automation, Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Degree
Job Responsibility:
Prepare concept, design, and detail drawings using 3D CAD and other engineering tools.
- Prepare detailed lists of parts, detail drawings, and materials (bills of materials) in SAP as required to complete the project.
- Review and closely follow customer specifications and requirements for machines, tooling and automation during manufacture of machines, tooling and automation.
- Continuously improve engineering processes.
- Help develop strategies and processes to ensure on-time delivery of equipment, cost reduction opportunities and performance improvements.
- Apply a good working knowledge of designing and specifying components for high-force machines and handling systems.
- Understand manufacturing environment, including machining processes, workflow, assembly processes, and cycle time and quality and delivery expectations.
