Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of strong experience in manufacturing engineering.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the transfer of Lean Manufacturing Technology, leading improvement projects, and the development of strategic and capital plans.
- Lead, plan and coordinate the development and implementation of improved manufacturing processes using Lean methodology and tools.
- Demonstrate cross-functional project management skills by involving other business functional groups as required during the development and implementation of the project.
- Research current and advanced Lean manufacturing technologies and lead the skill set transfer to key employees to improve operations while developing the ongoing improvement efforts that will become a part of the operational culture after a successful Lean implementation.
- Work closely with entire staff to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.
- Monitor and evaluate process/equipment performance, make recommendations for new and improved processes.
- Develop and maintain reference documents, work instructions, standard work and reinforce best practice.
