Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar related field.
- 2 years of fabrication experience
- Knowledge and Experience in 3D modelling
Job Responsibility:
- Partner with customers to evaluate designs for manufacturing needs, understand scope, review drawings and material selection as well as any other necessary information related to the projects.
- Monitor the fabrication process from inception to installation, ensuring that the product or service meets customer requirements; monitoring/prioritizing the task/project within scope, scheduling, budgeting, and responding to any issues.
- Responsible for completing all pertinent project documentation.
- Use their knowledge of materials and various shops’ capabilities to bid jobs, evaluate bids, decide on the most appropriate bid and procure the services within company guidelines to meet customer needs.
- Evaluate vendor performance to assure they are capable and in compliance with applicable procedures/standards
- Abide by the principles of Safe Conduct of Research including being personally responsible for ensuring safe operations by raising safety concerns, using a questioning attitude, considering hazards for every task, and never stop learning.
