Education & Experience
Master's degree with equivalent industrial experience in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
6+ years of experience in the areas of materials and manufacturing for additive manufacturing, and proven track record in academia, industry or military/government.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the Research Group's strategy and roadmap in the field of additive manufacturing
- Collaborate with other Siemens Technology Research Groups to extend research scope and integrate into comprehensive solutions
- Develop new concepts, implement into prototypes and present to other experts
- Build Siemens-internal network to acquire and lead research projects to advance the technology and secure innovation
- Lead and participate in projects with Siemens businesses, including research & development as well as technical consulting
- Closely interact with Principals, R&D heads and Technology Field heads
