Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR other degree holder and Bootcamp Certification OR other degree holder and 2+ years of application development experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Creativity and innovation – desire to learn and apply new technologies, products, and libraries
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and container-based environments
- Willingness to coach and pair program with entry-level engineers
Job Responsibility:
Experience building apps on the MEAN stack (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node)
- Demonstrated expertise and portfolio of products developed for the web
- Track record of building user interfaces, APIs, or backend services
- Experience implementing wireframes or technical approaches with flexible, well-structured code
- Comfortable with code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with building, documenting, querying, and consuming RESTful APIs
