Education & Experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Process Engineering
- Knowledge of LEAN principles is a plus.
- Expereince with IATF/ISO is an advantage
- Preventative maintenance and Project Management experience is preferred.
- Able to be pro-active throughout the project process to deliver results and take ownership.
- Team player with the ability to cooperate on all levels of the organization (shop floor to management).
- Familiar with basic hand tools, sensors, vision and other common assembly operation equipment and components.
Job Responsibility:
Determine process steps and flow to move from inputs to expected output
- Determine method to complete each process step (e.g., machine based, people based, or combination)
- Provide and maintain tools to perform each process step (e.g., SOPs, Tooling, Training, etc.)
- Monitor and continuously improve processes to ensure expected output targets are met. If not, implement corrective action.
- Ensure engineering changes are implemented with no negative impact to safey, quality, delivery and productivity
- Active participation on New Product Development Teams. Setup process to ensure new products are implemented with no negative impact to safety, quality, delivery and productivity
