Qualification:

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in engineering, physical science, computer science, operations research, mathematics, or other STEM fields is required.

  2. 0-2 years of work experience
  3. Familiarity with computer programming and best practices.
  4. A programming background with MATLAB, C++, or FORTRAN
  5. Knowledge/course work in physics, aerospace engineering, and/or flight dynamics.
  6. Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands would be helpful
  7. Knowledge/course work of radar, signal processing, control theory, and/or optics.
  8. Time management skills and able to work in a team.


Job Responsibility:

  1. The candidate will be expected to apply M&S tools in order to provide the critical analytic underpinnings and timely insights necessary for informed Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) decision-making.

  2. Utilize and develop our M&S tools to support missile defense system engineering activities including: element design, performance evaluation, concept exploration, concept of operations (CONOPs) development, asset siting, adversarial threat sensitivities, countermeasures, and test & evaluation.
  3. Candidate will be expected to analyze current and future missile defense architectures and system concepts in all phases of flight to help determine future investment paths.
  4. Candidate may conduct performance analyses of real world events, including assessment of sensor viewing, location of mobile missile defense assets, and calculation of the probability of engagement success of threat ballistic missiles, rockets, and re-entry vehicles.
