Job Position: Process Engineer

Qualification:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineering. Other degrees will be considered depending on experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong analytical, problem solving and statistical process control.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles including waste reduction is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively cohesively in a team environment
- Must be familiar with computer software and programs: Axapta, MS Office, IMS
Job Responsibility:
Develop improved manufacturing and testing processes that are necessary to achieve the performance and cost requirements of future aluminum applications.
- Recommend and prepare changes, additions, and modifications that will facilitate value created in the manufacturing process.
- Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications
- Lead continuous improvement through regularly scheduled assessments and closed loop corrective action implementation.
- Ensure processes are capable, have sufficient controls in place, can meet delivery requirements and meet cost targets.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to address product quality issues and play an active role in meeting departmental KPIs.
- Assist in implementing required process changes to meet all of the above criteria as well as training plant personnel on these procedures and process changes.
