JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification:

Education & Experience

  1. MS degree in CS, CE, and EE or any other related major

  2. 1+ years software engineering skills, using C/C++/Assembly
  3. 1+ year experience in systems programming and debug experience in Linux.
  4. 1+ year experience in processor performance simulation and simulators.
  5. PhD degree in CS, CE, and EE or any other related major
  6. 1+ year in Systems architecture, Computer architecture, Trustworthy Computing, or Cryptographic Protocols
  7. Memory safety techniques for code / data isolation, including heap / stack management in multi-threaded environments.
  8. Fine grain Code / Data integrity using efficient algorithms and HW primitives.
  9. Type-safe languages and underlying principles for their operation.
  10. Function-as-a-Service (FaaS), microservices construction and isolation.
  11. Circuit design, RTL.


Job Responsibility:

  1. Initiates the design, development, execution, and implementation of scientific research projects to fuel Intel's growth in the areas of computing, security, and new business opportunity.

  2. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 7+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap.
  3. Plans and executes laboratory research. Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories and contributes to scientific literature and conferences.
  4. Participates in development of intellectual property and coordinating interdepartmental research efforts.
  5. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing research in the areas of SW control flow integrity and memory safety through HW and SW enhancements, building prototypes to demonstrate feasibility of concepts and technical solutions.
  6. The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, show initiative through identifying and driving closure of technical issues towards maturing research vectors and presenting complex issues with clarity to drive decisions.
