Master's degree or the equivalent in electrical engineering or related
- Applied knowledge of signal and image processing. Trained state-of-the-art deep learning models. Worked with MATLAB. Worked with Python. Worked with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Programmed in C++. Worked with OpenCV. Used version control tools such as Git or SVN.
The employee is responsible for conducting research on signal and image processing algorithms, computer vision, machine learning, and other advanced technologies to deliver solutions for next generation imaging products. This includes theoretical design and analysis of signal and image processing algorithms including deep learning algorithms and models, development of signal/image processing algorithms in Python or MATLAB, development and training of deep learning models with open-source frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, efficient implementation of algorithms in C and/or C++, and performing software simulations and experiments (both laboratory and real-world experiments) to validate algorithms.
- The employee is expected to provide subject matter expertise for future product development.
- The employee will work closely with international and cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and research teams to establish strong, cohesive relationships.
- The employee will also be responsible for filing invention disclosures and patent applications for new intellectual property.
