Education & Experience
Bachelors’ Degree required
- 1-2 years of relevant internships/work experience helpful. Open to new graduates
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis / visualization is a plus (i.e. Python, SQL, Excel, R, Salesforce, etc.)
- Academic understanding of financial markets, major asset classes and macroeconomics
- Be able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work independently
- Be able to perform in an ever-changing high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
Job Responsibility:
Conducting due diligence on Alternative Investments including but not limited to:
- Market Analysis, Downside Scenario Modelling, Risk and Return Analysis
- Participating in Investment Committee meetings and contributing to the due diligence of a prospective Alternative Investment as it moves along in our internal pipeline
- Assisting in onboarding new funds to the IEQ Alternative Investments platform that successfully make it through our internal pipeline
- Monitoring existing Alternative Investments across multiple asset classes (real estate, private credit, private equity, etc.) on an ongoing basis and producing relevant written communications for both internal and external consumption
- Communicating Alternative Investment portfolio developments to the client services teams
- Participating in outbound sourcing of new Alternative Investment fund managers and ideas
