Education & Experience

  1. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

  5. Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  6. Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
  7. Experience with PC's in a Windows environment
  8. High School Graduate or equivalent GED Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
  9. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma (required) and some college classes/experience requested (not required).
  10. Minimum Experience required: Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the life insurance business (at least 1 year running life sales illustrations).
  11. Skills Required: Be skilled in use of a PC, Word, and Excel systems, have good typing skills, possess strong customer service skills, proficient in use of most standard business office equipment (i.e. fax, email, copier, etc), possess generally accepted office writing, grammar, speaking, and listening skills.
  12. Required to have an understanding of life insurance products and how the various kinds of life insurance work.
  13. Need to be very detailed oriented and good with numbers.


Job Responsibility:

  1. Produce and transmit accurate life insurance illustrations, in a timely manner, per company guidelines.

  2. Possess a good understanding of all aspects of the carrier software packages we utilize internally.
  3. Possess a good understanding of the various product types (including features, functions, structure, design implementation, and how to illustrate them).
  4. Have a complete understanding of how the department interacts with our wirehouse clients and what is expected of you.
  5. Manage your daily workflow throughout your day, prioritizing and re-prioritizing as needed, so that you can complete a high number of requests, accurately, and on-time.
  6. Provide product and concept support to TIME’s customer firms, RSs, ISs, and FAs.
  7. Possess the ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively (verbally and in writing) with your customer.
  8. Possess the ability to give value added contributions to the illustration requestor that may enhance the probability of selling the case.
  9. Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by your department manager.
