Australia Job Position: Process Engineer 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification:

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)

2. Comprehensive understanding of HV electrical substation equipment and construction methodologies
3. Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive specifications, scopes of work and evaluate supplier offers
4. Previous experience managing and liaising with a range of key stakeholders
5. Proven ability to apply project management principles preferably in an electrical infrastructure construction contracting environment.

Job Responsibility:

1. Support project team with procurement activities, including producing scopes of work, evaluating supplier offers and providing technical expertise when required.

2. Manage suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery time, cost and quality expectations are met
3. Prepare Inspection & Test Plans and monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
4. Work as the conduit between Project Manager, Designers, Site Managers and Suppliers proactively problem solving and managing design and delivery risks.
5. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective action where required
6. Actively contribute to planning, scoping and estimating for bids and tenders.
