JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification:

Education & Experience

1. Degree in Petroleum Engineering or similar disciplines with 4-9 years’ experience within a similar role
2. Essential technical knowledge of Petroleum Engineering disciplines with emphasis on CSG
3. Ability to keep abreast of developments in technology, software literature, and geological techniques
4. Knowledge of other subsurface disciplines including geology, petrophysics, geophysics etc.
5. Knowledge of interpretation and modelling software packages
6. Knowledge and experience in analytical or numerical modelling, production forecasting, data science, well testing, pressure transient analysis, statistical and risk analysis, and reserves estimation.
7. Knowledge of gas production operations and CSG production system.

Job Responsibility:

1. Provide Petroleum Engineering analysis and interpretation in support of production forecasting, reservoir management, optimising future development and assessing reserves and resources
2. Conduct Reservoir Engineering activities, primarily reservoir simulation, to generate production forecasts, test and optimise future development plans, assess reserves and resources
3. Production forecasting for operating wells
4. Support numerical reservoir modelling in construction, history matching and updating models in assigned fields
5. Support implementing reservoir surveillance and management plans
6. Assist in maximising production through implementation of Reservoir Management plan via collaboration with production engineers
