Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 0 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Must be a self-starter with good communication skills to express ideas and opinions, dependable, detail oriented, and work well on a team
- Knowledge of Linux, data analysis (IDL or python) and version control
Job Responsibility:
The Systems Engineer - Aerospace will be required to develop subsystem concepts and designs that meet subsystem requirements and have prior experience in developing instrument hardware and/or software.
- This will include the generation of concept designs, test plans, procedures, and reports.
- May be required to develop requirements for subsystems.
- The Systems Engineer - Aerospace should have knowledge and experience with manufacturing techniques, approved aerospace materials, and computer aided design tools.
